Multiple Facilities in London

SunGard operates more than 1m sq ft of recovery facilities in the UK. All are provided with generator backup and offer multiple high specification recovery suites with regularly refreshed PCs and printers. Every position is provided with the latest Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) Telephony offering full contact centre capability. The air conditioned office environments are supplemented with fully cabled meeting rooms, conference facilities, kitchens and rest areas.

At the heart of every facility there is a Computer Equipment room with high speed connectivity to every other SunGard facility via our award winning National Network.

All our facilities look and feel the same, with identical technology to ensure that wherever you recover the only thing that changes is the view out of the window.

South West Region

 

Bristol Recovery Centre

The Bristol facility opened in July 2004 and replaced the Chippenham Facility that was established in November 1997. The facility offers a large Computer Equipment Room, office facilities for 430 staff in multiple suites and expansion space for future expansion and dedicated solutions.

Poole Recovery Centre

The Poole facility was opened in 2000 in response to customer demand for a new facility to cover the South of England. The facility offers over 500 workplace positions in 7 suites, together with over 18,000 sq ft of Tier 3+ Computer Equipment space.

London and the South East

 

City Recovery Centre

Located in the Northern fringes of the City of London, the City Recovery Centre provides office based recovery for 655 staff in multiple suites, including dealing environments. There is also a substantial Computer Equipment Room.

Docklands Recovery Campus

Docklands Recovery Campus comprises 2 interlinked buildings adjacent East India Dock DLR station in the heart of the Docklands – combined they offer over 1800 Workplace and Front Office Dealing positions in multiple suites. Additionally there are 3 large Computer Equipment Rooms as well as the bridge rooms, crisis management suites, conference facilities and meeting rooms you will find in every one of our facilities.

Paris Garden Recovery Centre

In addition to 450 workplace positions and 12,000 sq ft of Computer equipment Room, the Paris Garden Recovery Centre has a Public Relations Auditorium Room, Conference Room, Meeting Rooms and Hot Desks facilities. The Public Relations Auditorium is furnished with TVs, multi-media facilities and projection systems for addressing up to 40 seated people.

Southwark Bridge Road Recovery Centre

Opened in 2000, the Southwark Bridge Road facility is a short walk over Southwark Bridge from the City of London. Over £5m was spent in 2007 upgrading the infrastructure and the facility now offers flexible accommodation for both back and front office recovery

Leatherhead Recovery Centre

Opened in July 2007 the 1200 position facility is just a short walk from Leatherhead station.

 

Crawley Recovery Centre

Opened in 1997, the Crawley Recovery Centre offers 450 positions in multiple discrete suites.

 

Theale Recovery Centre

Located next to Theale station south of Reading the Theale Recovery Centre provides a recovery solution for up to 300 workers in the Thames Valley.

Midlands

 

Leicester Recovery Centre

Home to our Mobile Recovery capability, the Leicester Recovery Centre offers up to 50 workplace positions in 3 suites as well as 2 customer control centres enabling access to multiple technology recovery solutions.

Milton Keynes Recovery Centre

While we have offered recovery services out of our 4 buildings in Milton Keynes since 1978, the 180 position workplace solution was opened in 2007.

Coventry Recovery Centre

The Coventry Recovery Centre has provided a recovery solution for up to 500 Midlands based office staff since 1996. In common with all our centres it offers multiple recovery suites, regularly refreshed technology and the latest telephony solutions capable of recovering the most advanced contact centres.

Northern England

 

Elland Recovery Centre

Opened in 2007 the Elland facility offers up to 37,000 sq ft of Tier 3+ Computer Equipment Room, office facilities for 360 staff in multiple suites and expansion space for future dedicated solutions.

Stockport Recovery Centre

Following a re-fit programme completed in June 2001, and investments in excess of £1m for implementing new technology and upgrading the quality of office facilities, Stockport Recovery Centre accommodates 250 recovery positions.

Warrington Recovery Centre

The Warrington facility was opened in 1994 to provide a workplace recovery solution for the North West of England. In response to customer demand, a second building was fitted out in 1999. Combined, the 2 buildings provide a multi-suite recovery solution for up to 460 staff.

Scotland

Livingston Recovery Centre

The Livingston facility was opened in November 1999 in response to customer demand for a new facility in Scotland. The facility was then substantially upgraded in early 2004 to dramatically increase its capacity and meet increasing demands for dedicated solutions. Representing an investment of over £7m the facility offers full office facilities for up to 850 staff, with further expansion potential.

Dundee Recovery Centre

The Dundee facility was opened in 2006 in response to customer demand for a new facility to cover the North East of Scotland. The Dundee facility is provided in conjunction with Scotland Online, Scotland’s premier provider of Internet-driven IT based business solutions and offers 93 positions in 4 suites.

 

In addition to all these sites, SunGard also operates Tier 4 datacentres.
